3 April 2017: Hand Shakers CHECK
Front view.
It has been more than seven years since the last Karmaburn.com CHECK, but inspired but the upcoming return of more Cardcaptor Sakura, I hereby present Formerly Mute Doll's battle costume from Hand Shakers. (Again, with apologies to Kero-chan and Paiway.)
Ass shot. I mean, rear view.
Visually speaking, Hand Shakers was a travesty from top to bottom, back to front. There was almost nothing good about it, aside from a few exceptions. Koyori's battle costume—which she temporarily dons with basically no explanation towards the end of the series—is one of them. I don't have much to say about it, but I do like the wispy translucent bits with no practical purpose that hover around her. Luckily, they never get caught in her floating gears.
Side view.
I also like the wings on her breasts, even though in the last show I watched which featured a character wearing an outfit with breast wings, someone severed the poor girl's head and then later hucked it at the victim's best friend during a fight. (He dodged it and barely even noticed, so maybe they weren't great friends after all.) But I digress. Hand Shakers is not a good show. In fact, it was bad in a whole lot of regular ways in addition to being bad in all these newfangled ways, but at least Koyori's battle costume was nice.
